Children are filled with stories to tell and ideas to share. 

At LMS, children’s literacy development is supported through a wide range of formal and informal activities.

We learn about authors and “author” our own books, have many opportunities to talk about books and are surrounded by a print-rich environment. Children are encouraged to express their ideas about the books they “read” and the world around them! Additionally, letter knowledge focuses on an exploration of the children’s names.
